Hi, my name is mark and I currently live in Munich, germany.
I was fascinated with pinball machines sins a was a child, but rarely had the chance, time, money to play.
I was and still am fascinated by the mechanical and electronic concept of the game, with rails, ramps, magnets, holes, bumpers, .... but all I understood was that you had to keep the ball in play, it bumped around and made some bling bling sounds, and you got a score afterwards. I think for a lot of people out there pinball is exactly that. To bad for them.
Pinball had always had its presence in computer game history an I came across a couple, but none had a special impact.
Then I laid my hand on timeshock and I was blown away with the realism and it was the first pinball game where you could feel the mechanical spirit of real tables behind it. I was totally hooked. And after I discovered that there are actually rules and missions and "story" in a pinball game, I was hopelessly addicted. Had quite some fun with TS and BRUSA, but have to admit that I rarely played TW and FJ.
I rediscovered digital pinball with zen's star wars tables on my living room tv. I instantly felt the urge to rotate my tv or lay it flat on the table. I was amazed to discover the whole VP and cab builders scene and instantly decided to build a cab. My passion there is a little more on the hardware side, so all I needed is a better plug+play solution on the sofware end. VP and the community are doing an awesome job, but I lack the lust and time to fondle around with software for xxx hoursit before I can start a game. And I just love high end graphics.
So it was like a dream come true to hear of the kickstarter and upcoming ultra edition of the game that started it all: timeshock! With full cab support

Big thanks to the team and everybody who is making this possible!!!
Mark
