Hello,

I'm too a pinball fan and really happy about the results of the kickstarter here. I think it's great.
I first got to know the ProPinball games from a compilation cd-pack and played all tables of them since then. Actually I'm not a really good player of it, but its fun enough to play f.e. Timeshock! once in a while and still have great fun

Its just sad for me that the kickstarter and original cd's version won't run fluently on my modern pc, but I've build a really retro gaming pc with a simple Pentium 2 with 300 MHz, a Voodoo Graphics card and Windows 95 on it. Everything old works great on that one ^^

Currently I'm studying informatics and love developing some stuff on my own, even games - by now theres just nothing I ever did I actually would call "finished" to present it to other people where I could be proud of ^^ But thats subject to change

I'm from Germany and I was playing pinball games for as long as I can remember. I played demos of Pinball Dreams, Epic Pinball and so on endlessly. One day, there was the magazine Computer Bild Spiele which had the full version of Pro Pinball: Timeshock on CD. This must have been in late 1999 or early 2000. This was MY game. Although I was never good enough to complete the game (never got into Timeshock Frenzy), I LOVED that game. My personal favorite is the Video Mode because this is something I never knew from a pinball game. It held the ball somewhere and I had to controll "something" in the LCD. Wow, this was great. Video Mode was always lit with the third ball if you had below 50M points I believe, so I quite often dumped the first two balls just to get to the Video Mode.

I don't even want to think about how much better I could have done in school if I never installed Timeshock

Unfortunately, Timeshock had some problems starting with Windows XP (which could be solved with compa mode) and by now, I'm a Mac. Sadly, Kickstarter version of Timeshock doesn't really work in Parallels with Windows 8 Pro x64 (even with only one virtual core), framerate is good, but hitting Shift usually does not work or like one second later.

Well, the more I'm looking forward to Mac and iOS releases!

I'm Chriss from Bavaria/Germany. I'm 36 years old.
I bought all the ProPinball Games in the 90s and still love them, especially TS, of course.

I own a real Pinball Machine (Williams "F-14 Tomcat") and also a selfbuilt virtual PinCab with RealDMD and Ledwiz-Support (Flashers, ...).
Until now I only play Future Pinball on this VPin. I hope this will be changed at the end of 2013!!!

I'm from the US, and got started on Timeshock! shortly after it was released. I have to say, it was an amazing change from the Sierra 3D Ultra Pinball series! I missed the first Kickstarter, and then I missed the second one by about a week, so thank you for also allowing Paypal pledging!

Fortunately around here there's still quite a few places around with real pinball machines (mostly the Stern ones, but also some older machines too).

I'm from Thuringia/Germany and 38 years old. The first real pinball table I played was "Jungle Lord" on a funfair.
Yes, there where western pinball tables in East Germany in the 1980's - but to play was veeeerrry expensive.
1 DDR-Mark !!! That was 20 baps in the socialist workers paradise.
So my parents only allowed 1 game - and the 3 balls drained instantly. But I was fascinated nevertheless. Never had seen such artwork before as a kid - it looked really important.
Started pinball playing for 'real' on computer in the 90's with the 'game' all know here.

Hi, I'm from Austin, Texas USA. I got hooked on pinball games in college with Earthshaker and Elvira and the Party Monsters. I've been playing pinball simulations since the AMTEX DOS versions of Royal Flush and Eight Ball Deluxe. Started playing Pro Pinball with the combo release of The Web and Timeshock! and have bought the rest as they were released. I've followed the VP scene from the beginning.

Inspired by this ongoing pinball renaissance, I'm finishing up a virtual pinball cabinet with all the upgrades.

I'm in it for an ULTRA version of BRUSA!

Hello, old and new Pinball players around the world!

I'm Max, 35, from Kapfenberg, Austria, and I bought Pro Pinball The Web from the price money I won in a writing contest back in school.
I bought and played all other Pro Pinball when they came out as well. I developed my fandom (not really addiction) for pinball back on the Amiga, first with Pinball Wizard (nice little game), and then with Pinball Dreams and Pinball Fantasies - the best pinball games I ever played in 2D.

It's so nice to have Pro Pinball being born again, remembering the old times, some old names ...

And, HEY, thanks to the fabulous Wayback Machine from archive.org, how about that for some specific nostalgia:

Greetings. I'm Paul from the West of the Middle of England, and I admit it, I never "got" pinball. I remember the last time I had a go on an actual pinball machine. I fed it my pound coin, and a minute and three lost balls later, quickly decided that pinball was a waste of money. A couple of years later I was bored on a Sunday, so I was trying demos that had come with my PC magazine, one of which was Timeshock! Needless to say, I was quickly hooked and wasted no time in inflicting my new found condition on my unsuspecting friends. Been playing pinball ever since, and regard the Pro Pinball series as my all time favourite pinball, but Timeshock! will always hold a special place in my heart as it was the first pinball table I played enough to learn. The first table where I realised that pinball had hidden depths and real value. So bring on the Pro Pinball resurrection!
