Why does Timeshock take up so much disk space?

Today I discovered that his folder is over 6GB which is a disgraceful record among all emulators (on VPX the most advanced tables do not exceed 200MB). What are ldr/hdr folders for (each of them about 3GB)? My resolution is 2560x1440.
