Pinball Gold Pack was on sale this weekend at gog. This contains Pinball Dreams Deluxe (PD 1 + 2) / Pinball Fantasies Deluxe (Fantasies + Mania) and Pinball Illusions.
It's just the DOS ports of the Amiga Versions done by Spidersoft run with Dosbox, but I can say it is still addictive fun.
The flipper physics are good enough to catch balls and make aimed shoots.
I would absolutely recommend it (at least at sale price).

Pinball Gold Pack:

Ignition
Steel Wheel
Beat Box
Nightmare

Partyland
Speed Devils
Billion Dollar Gameshow
Stones 'n' Bones

Tarantula
Jailbreak
Kick-Off!
Jackpot

Neptune
Safari
Revenge of the Robot Warriors
Stall Turn

Law 'n Justice
Babewatch
Extreme Sports
The Vikings

Pinball Fantasies and Illusions were not ported by Spidersoft but by some swedish guys... I can't remember their name. But the port was sustantially better than the ports done by Spidersoft!

The original developers of those games were a Swedish company, Digital Illusions CE, nowadays known better simply as DICE and being the makers of the Battlefield series.

After confirming that on Wikipedia, I got curious about Far Sight's backgrounds and couldn't help but laugh when I read they were actually behind the Genesis version of Action 52.

Frontline.
It's all in the link, I posted above.

Also *cough* Psycho Pinball with a Genesis Emulator *cough*, should at least be mentioned in this thread.

Waiting on the super patch of TPA on the PS3 which is announced for April 1st (I hope it's not a joke!), which will add 3D to alll the tables (own all season 1 and 2 tables). Zen Pinball 2 is already a blast playing in 3D on my 50" 3D plasma. Can't wait to play TPA in 3D as well. 3D adds quite a lot to the pinball experience! :D

I hope, while they're at it, they will replace the ugly lo-fi textures with higher resolution ones..high enough to be able to read the text at least, preferably the small text ;) and portrait mode.

Portrait mode on the PS3? Will also be very difficult to put a 50" TV in portrait mode! ;)

Perhaps some clever glasses that used prisms to rotate the image by 90 degrees. 8-)

I wasn't speaking of the PS3 version in particular - more like in general. But yeah why not. It's just a matter of a rotateable holder.
There are some other much needed fixes though like balls falling off ramps for no obvious reason.
