DIY Pinball

Here's one of my most prized ambitions: to build a pinball machine from scratch! At this rate, it'll probably have to wait until retirement, but in the meantime, it's fascinating to see what others are up to. Point your browsers at:
Ben Heck:
Poor Man's Pinball: Bioshock

Longhorn Engineer: Reset Vector (not updated for a while)

Real machines are such an interesting mixture of physics, electronics, programming and artwork, that I'd just love to get started. It's interesting that most of the projects seem to major on the electronics/programming side, which (as Ben Heck discovers after his first table) doesn't necessarily result in the best player experience. I think I would spend a lot of time getting the playfield arrangement right with an excellent flow to it before moving on to the details.

Anyone else up for this?

As a big fan of the original Bioshock, that looks awesome.
