Settings not stored

Postby Numiah » Sun Jun 09, 2019 9:25 pm

Bought this through Steam.
Worked a treat untill a random crash.

Now ALL my settings are lost at every start of the game every single time.
Running as admin.
Any clues on what to do?

Maybe your config file "timeshock_game.dat" is damaged and can't be overwritten. I would try to rename or delete this file to see what happens.
The file is located in the "C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Barnstorm Games\Pro Pinball Ultra"

Thank you for your fast reply.
Unfortunately it didn't help.

All problems started when I had a BSOD while playing.
It doesn't remember my login and controls as well, have to sign in every time.
At every start the standard gfx get downloaded as well.

Weird huh?

Re-installing didn't work either.
Perhaps removing some registry settings?

Edit :
Found this in the logs :

Fixed it!

Turned out my xml was damaged.
Copied over a backup file (long live backups!) and she works again!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Tarek :D
