Planned 1/2 scale cabinet

It's a 7" LCD panel. It's designed to be a car reversing monitor, I think. It was only about £22 on ebay. If I had to do the build over again, I would mount it upside down because it is designed to be viewed from below. Looking straight at it, or from above, it looks a bit washed out but from below the black looks black and the colours are brighter. I can't just turn it upside down on this one because the metal frame is not symmetrical.

Thanks :)

Considering my 7" tablet PC I figured that would be a good size for a 3rd monitor. It's cheaper than I had imagined, too. Did you connect it via the USB?

It has a little auxiliary board that connects to VGA.

How does it feel to play long sessions with this. Do you stand all the time or sit in a chair?

It feels a lot like a real machine, the longest I've played it standing up is probably about 2 hours and it gets a bit tiring. I play sitting down if I want comfort and just put it on a lower table. For this reason, I don't think I will bother fitting legs.

I got some decals made up for my mini pin. The way I put the panels together was not ideal for doing decals (lesson learned) but they came out well enough. Just a lock down bar to make now.
