The buttons on the top of each post (edit, delete, report, quote) are so dark that they actually blend into the background on all of my devices.

I actually have to highlight the page to see them clearly, and didn't even notice them at all at first.

The delete button was not showing in my post any more so I couldn't edit it.

I find the existing buttons perfectly ok. The shiny ones would make the overall design cluttered.

Well then, how about some user selectable board themes for those of us who need a bit more contrast between buttons and backgrounds?

phpBB makes it very easy to have multiple themes with user's choice.

As for making the board cluttered, I don't think it will. Those buttons are the exact same size as the originals, just a bit brighter. And remember, you will not see all of them at the same time. Only Report and Quote, unless the posts are your own.

Those buttons and a few others are now a little lighter!

Thanks, I definitely notice the difference on the profile buttons, (like PM) now as well.

Although I did think that the glowing ones that I edited would make the board feel more like a pinball table, too.
