I can't seem to start the game. Help? (S or F1 do not work)
EDIT: Apparently AMD Gaming Evolved (Raptr) breaks input somehow.

I assume there's no controller support at all yet?

Will analog nudging be supported in a future version?

Tried to look at my FPS with fraps. It's all over to place starting with ~150 on max settings and going over ~300 on min settings.

Is this a bug? Will the framerate be locked on future updates?

It's nice to see progress, but to me this seems just a little over-billed. Anyone would think this is more politic than anything else.

I can't see that a build with no controller support, no low and medium views, no new physics, no offline support, no cabinet support - all these are what the e-mail says are missing - qualifies as an 'OUT NOW' release.

I'll wait until there's at least more than a single view that I can play offline with a controller and new physics before I consider it out of development myself.

I really don't see how this is 1.0.0, even though this v 1.0.0 has dropped before Christmas 2015.

I'll use xpadder for now, so I can play with a controller.

Awesome to see this one finally out! :)

But... I can't get it installed.
Windows 7 user here. Starting the installer doesn't go anywhere. It just creates 3 processes, all named "ProPinballSetup_1.0.0.exe *32", each taking 108k of RAM and using 0% CPU. Additional tries each create a single new identical process.
For some reason, those processes can't be closed. So far I've tried the Windows task manager and Process Explorer, and neither can kill those processes. Trying to create dump files of them in Process Explorer brings up the following error message:
"Error writing dump file: Only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was completed."

I've now tried Windows 7, Vista, and XP service pack 3 compatibility modes, but none of those seem to have any effect. Just to make sure my download wasn't corrupt, I tried re-downloading the installer, but the sizes were identical (size: 422 653 791 bytes, size on disk: 422 653 952 bytes), so I think that shouldn't be the issue.

Any ideas what I could try next?

It plays very smooth but unfortunately still suffers from some severe input lag / shot angle issues. Shots that should hit right ramp hit right orbit, shots that should hit orbit hit side targets etc. The old 1997 version was better in this regard.
