System requirements

Postby RMG » Mon Sep 23, 2013 8:05 pm

Hi!

I'm really not that great gamer*, thus my computer is mainly equipped for office needs, i.e. AMD A6-3650 APU 2,6 GHz with integrated Radeon HD 6530D 444 MHz. Would this be suitable for playing the new tables under Windows 7 x64 at all? Or will a dedicated graphics card be a must?

Greetings

That should be ok. Like original version, we will have graphics settings to reduce the load on lower spec machines.

But for all the bells and whistles and flashers that light up every corner of the table you'll need a reasonably funky GPU.

Ade, can you give us an idea please of the GPU model / spec that will be needed to run at FULL settings. Do you have an example from your own development PC's? Maybe let people know both the Nvidia and AMD/ATi minimum chipsets and specs (RAM qty + type) needed.

I for one am planning on buying a new graphics card just for TS! UE - so don't want to buy something underpowered (and I have been so out of the graphics card scene for the last 5 or so years).

Cheers.

I'm really hoping that my Core 2 Quad and nVidia GTS 450 powered cabinet will do a decent job.
