Lock bug

Postby DaveG44131 » Tue Feb 03, 2015 4:16 am

I have noticed that balls don't always go to the lock when it is lit. Unfortunately this seems to happen randomly, which will make it hard to find.

There are two possible explanations:

* You can temporarily disable the lock by holding the right flipper and then tapping the left flipper. The "LOCK" lamp will go out for a few seconds.

* The last shot in the Mount Rushmore mode ("Just one more!") is to the Lock shot, but the ball won't stay locked: it will kick out from the lock immediately.

Could either of these explain what you've seen?

It could be the flippers, but I'm pretty sure the lock remains lit when I've seen it fail. I'll have to wait to see when it happens again.

During missions and during multiball-events the lock is also inactive.

During missions and during multiball-events the lock will be inactive by default.
And I think also during "quickball" or what the right-lane-event is called again.
Maybe you were in one of those actions at that time. Hope I could help.
